Celebrating a strong first half of the year
Our half-year awards celebration brought the team together for a well-earned afternoon of recognition, great food, and time to enjoy each other’s company with a few games of rounders. Hosted at Welwyn Garden City Rugby Club, a club we’re proud to sponsor, the event was the perfect way to mark a strong first half of the year.
Great food, good company and a little competition
With the sun shining, the setting couldn’t have been better. A Greek BBQ kept everyone fuelled while the relaxed atmosphere gave people from across our office network the chance to connect. We also squeezed in a few lively games of rounders, adding a competitive edge and plenty of laughs to the evening. Jonny Turner, our Harpenden Senior Move Consultant & Valuer, hit the ball so far that it disappeared out of sight and we were fairly sure it’s now somewhere between Welwyn Garden City and Harpenden!
Recognising outstanding team achievements
The focus, of course, was on our half-year awards, which highlight the dedication, performance, and teamwork across the business. Our Rising Star Award recognised individuals who have made an immediate impact and are already showing huge potential. The Moment of Brilliance Award celebrated those standout actions that make a real difference, whether that is solving a challenge, supporting colleagues, or going the extra mile. The Service Excellence Award honoured those who consistently deliver outstanding experiences, while the Top Office for Growth Award recognised teams achieving exceptional results and driving business success. Our Personal Growth and Development Award celebrated individuals committed to continuous improvement, and the Financial Services Champion Award highlighted expertise and leadership within the industry.
