We were delighted to attend the Hertfordshire Residential Development Awards (HRDA) 2025, held in the stunning surroundings of Tewinbury Farm Hotel. The awards evening kicked off with energy and excitement, highlighted by a spectacular fireworks display that set the stage for a truly memorable celebration.
A night of recognition and purpose
Hosted by talkSPORT’s Shebahn Aherne, the black-tie awards brought together leading figures from Hertfordshire’s property sector. The awards not only celebrated outstanding achievements in residential development but also supported a cause close to our hearts.
What makes the Hertfordshire Residential Development Awards truly special is that they are organised by East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity. Every penny raised goes towards enhancing patient care and experiences at Lister Hospital, the New QEII, and Hertford County Hospital.
Powerful stories from the Hertfordshire Residential Development Awards
One of the most moving moments at the awards came as we heard firsthand how the funds raised support families affected by premature births. A nurse from the hospital shared her personal experience of a premature birth, offering a heartfelt reminder of the tangible difference our industry can make when it comes together for a shared cause.
Connecting the development community
It was fantastic to catch up with so many familiar faces from across the Hertfordshire development community at the awards. This event has quickly become one of our favourite dates in the diary, not only for the camaraderie and networking but also for the incredible cause it champions.
A record-breaking fundraising result
We were humbled to receive thanks for the support we’ve given in helping make the awards evening such a success, alongside our fellow committee members. It was a true team effort, and the results spoke for themselves.
An outstanding £89,000 was raised at the awards, a testament to the generosity and community spirit of everyone involved.
Looking ahead to HRDA 2026
A huge thank-you to all who attended, contributed and celebrated with us. And, of course, congratulations to every finalist and award winner, you’ve set the bar impressively high for the Hertfordshire Residential Development Awards 2026.
