The Location
From an ancient village steeped in history, to a modern commuter’s dream, Hatfield has transformed into a town which makes the most of the charming countryside surroundings and the superb connections to the Capital and beyond. It’s home to the University of Hertfordshire with its 32,000 students, studying 550 degree options across two vibrant campuses as well as Hatfield Business Park, one of the UK’s most successful mixed-use parks with over 3.5 million sq.ft. of business space.
Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventures, a laid-back lifestyle, or even a new place to work from home, Vista gives you the opportunity to live life on your own terms.
Fresh air, open green spaces, and the lure of adventure are all on your doorstep at Vista, while the buzz of the capital is only ever a short journey away. With shops, bars, cafés and leisure facilities all within easy reach, and gentle country pubs awaiting discovery down leafy lanes, Vista puts you at the heart of it all.
Vista is perfectly located for you to explore the rich array of country parks, leisure facilities, historic buildings and local interest groups in the surrounding area.
Shopping has never been easier than with The Galleria, Hatfield’s very own designer outlet centre, complete with restaurants, bars and a cinema for entertainment rain or shine – perfect for days spent with family and friends.
If you’re in the mood for some culture, look no further than Hatfield House – an elegant country house and prime example of Jacobean architecture. The surrounding grounds provide a beautiful outdoor escape to enjoy on sunny days, and plays host to exciting events such as festivals and fireworks, as well as a maze for children to explore all day long.
Just a few minutes down the road lies St Albans, famed for its historical significance, magnificent cathedral, and winding shopping streets. For anyone wanting a workout, you can even walk or cycle from Hatfield House to St Albans Cathedral via the traffic-free Alban Way, or head further afield for a trek up to Ivinghoe Beacon to watch the sunset over the rolling Hertfordshire countryside.
With so much to do in the local area, it’s easy to forget that London is less than 30 minutes away! When you hear the city calling, just hop on a train and enjoy everything the capital has to offer.
