Try Cricket this Spring!

Harpenden Cricket Club invites local boys and girls to give cricket a go this year.

The Club has a wonderful, friendly junior section with over 300 boys and 100 girls. Children as young as 5 can learn the basics of the game, whilst having fun with their friends.

"I've loved playing for Harpenden CC since I was in year 2. I get to play with friends from schools across town and have also played for Herts County and now the Harpenden Women's Team. It's great that the girls' section has grown so quickly with so many new players joining all the time. I even get to help with coaching some of the youngest players." - Abi, age 15.

"The biggest thing with cricket at Harpenden is the sense of community and how you can still feel at home whatever team you play in! I've only been playing adult cricket for a few years and I've felt included in every team I've played in (event at the age of 13 in the 6's...much, much younger than everyone else!)" - Harry, age 17.

How to Join

Boys can join the club from Year 3 onwards. Those in Year 1 and 2 should join the All Stars programme. Girls can join from Year 5 with younger girls encouraged to join the Dynamos programme.
