Chris previously managed a portfolio of 200 properties for the Department of Transport, followed by 10 years at a Lettings Agency in London before joining Ashtons in 2011. With comprehensive knowledge of the Housing Act and lettings legislation, Chris truly has his finger on the industry pulse and has a great affinity with landlords and tenants alike. When not in the office, Chris dedicates his time to charity fundraising and his love for running.
Colin’s lettings career began in North London in 2012 where he steadily worked his way up and honed his expertise before joining Ashtons in 2021 as Senior Lettings Associate & Valuer before being promoted to Lettings Manager. Colin brings a great deal of lettings experience to the role, and he loves meeting new people and being able to source the perfect home for his clients. When away from the office, avid Chelsea fan Colin can usually be found in the gym or enjoying a round of golf!
A member of Welwyn Garden City’s successful team for over 10 years, Gail is integral to the day-to-day smooth running of the office, combining her exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Gail is also a qualified Interior Designer with a passion for watercolour painting.
Jake joined our Client Services Department in 2022 before being promoted to Sales Associate in our Welwyn Garden City office. Jake maintains that his favourite part of the job is talking with customers, offering his knowledge of the local area and the satisfaction that comes from helping families on their journey to the perfect property. He consistently uses his customer-first mindset to guide our clients through the move process smoothly, ensuring their needs and goals are met. Born and raised in St Albans, there are few who know the area and community better than football fanatic Jake.
With almost 20 years’ industry experience, Jamie has a proven record in high volume luxury lettings environments. He started his career in London but since moving to Harpenden, his desire to work in a local market intensified. He is best placed to provide expert advice with a passion for unrivalled service and best practice. In his spare time, Jamie enjoys running and can often be found growing vegetables in his own allotment!
Having lived in Welwyn Garden City since the age of 4 and raising her own family in the area, Lisa has unrivalled knowledge and can speak confidently about schooling and facilities. Highly skilled at showcasing property, she provides invaluable advice when choosing a purchase.
Lucy joined the Ashtons team in 2021 with 2 years sales and lettings negotiator experience. Lucy is excited to be branching out into Sales Management and maintains that the best part of the job is building relationships with clients throughout the sale process and being able to support and guide them throughout their moving journey. Outside of the office, Lucy enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends and family.
Nic joined Ashtons in 2021, having previously been a Regional Manager and Managing Director for a number of well-known corporate agents. He brings with him over 25 years of experience and is an accredited member of NAEA, ARLA and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Nic now oversees 'The Collection', a unique portfolio of inspirational Hertfordshire homes, having the added advantage of being a local resident for over 30 years. When not in the office, Nic is a keen golfer and can often be found playing at Hammonds End Golf Course. Nic is also former Secretary of the Redbourn Round Table!
Olivia joined us in 2022 after graduating with a diploma in business studies. After just under a year in our Client Services department Olivia joined our Welwyn Garden City Sales team where she thrives on building relationships with buyers and sellers whilst negotiating to achieve the best outcome for both parties. Outside of work Olivia loves to spend time with her siblings, nieces, nephews and friends and enjoys long walks with her dog.
Richard has over 17 years’ experience in the property market. After owning his own agency on the West Coast of Wales, Richard moved back to Hertfordshire in 2011 and now manages our Welwyn Garden City office. Passionate about property, he has successfully overseen several thousand transactions throughout his career. His loyalty, professionalism and approachable manner has earned him a highly respected reputation in the property industry. When not in the office, you will find Richard indulging in one of his three main passions: travel, fitness and motorsports!
Thomas joined in 2018 as a welcome asset to the team with over 8 years’ local industry experience and both NAEA and ARLA qualified. Thomas’ approach is always the height of professionalism, providing valuation and marketing advice to both new and returning clients. When not in the office, Thomas is an avid mountain biker and a petrolhead through and through.
