Alex joined our St Albans team in 2021. Alex brings over 9 years’ industry expertise and vast experience gained through management of a diverse portfolio, having overseen sales of everything from large country estates in Berkshire to high-end flat developments in Prime Central London. Alex is driven by a genuine love for property and takes great pride in delivering an extremely high level of service tailored to our clients’ needs. Outside of work, Alex has a sports obsession and even worked previously as a football and boxing journalist.
Alix began her career as an architect, having qualified in 1998, and spent time working in London before moving to St Albans fifteen years ago. Having worked in Ashtons’ Sales, Lettings and New Homes teams over a period of almost ten years she is now a Senior Valuer for our St Albans office and enjoys utilising her extensive knowledge of the local housing market to achieve the best results for our clients.
Andrew has over 22 years’ estate agency experience in both sales and lettings. Gaining experience in the London property market, his industry expertise and wholehearted devotion to creating a memorable moving experience for all his clients have earned Andrew an impeccable reputation. Andrew’s other passion is sports, if he isn’t playing football or rugby with his two daughters and son, he can be found coaching his local women’s football team.
Brett joined Ashtons in 2022 and has almost 30 years’ experience in the property industry, having held senior positions in the high-end property markets of Belsize Park, West Hampstead, Radlett and Harpenden. Brett has lived in the St Albans area for most of his life and brings his wealth of experience and knowledge of the local area to the St Albans team. Outside of work, Brett’s passions are sport, music and his family, which continues to grow with the recent addition of two grandchildren.
Claudia joined Ashtons 15 years ago and has been an invaluable member of the team ever since. Starting as a Weekend Viewing Guide, she quickly moved into a full-time Sales Administrator role. Local to the area and integral to the smooth running of the office, Claudia combines exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. In her spare time Claudia loves musical theatre and is infamous in the office for her flair at baking cakes!
Essy joined our St Albans sales team in 2024, bringing valuable experience from the local lettings industry, which has given him a strong understanding of the St Albans market. With a business degree and five years’ experience in retail management, Essy is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and takes pride in helping clients find their ideal homes. Essy is excited to contribute his skills to our team and grow within the real estate industry. Outside of work, he stays active with boxing and loves exploring new places through travel.
Jade joined our St Albans lettings team in 2024, bringing with her two years of experience in the lettings industry. Jade is passionate about matching clients with the perfect property and is dedicated to making the moving process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Jade enjoys meeting new people and thrives on building positive relationships with her clients. Outside of work, Jade holds a diploma in Fashion Marketing and enjoys travelling, exploring new restaurants, and trying different cuisines.
Having passed our graduate programme in Client Services with flying colours, James was first promoted to Sales Negotiator before moving into a Sales Co-ordinator role based in our St Albans office, where he consistently delivers exceptional customer service. Away from the office, James enjoys socialising with friends and family and taking his dog on walks around Harpenden.
With unrivalled area knowledge and highly skilled at showcasing properties, Jayne provides invaluable advice to her clients, utilising her previous experience in customer service to provide an exceptional viewing experience. In her spare time Jayne loves keeping fit and pottering in her garden.
Jo joined the Ashtons Group in 2021 as part of the acquisition of Aitchisons. Having lived in the St Albans area with her family for over 14 years, Jo brings a wealth of local knowledge and expertise to the team. Jo is client-focused with a keen interest in property, and as a qualified Solicitor who specialised in Residential Conveyancing, she is expertly placed to help buyers and sellers during the sales process. Away from the office Joanne likes to cook for friends and enjoys gardening.
Nic joined Ashtons in 2021, having previously been a Regional Manager and Managing Director for a number of well-known corporate agents. He brings with him over 25 years of experience and is an accredited member of NAEA, ARLA and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Nic now oversees 'The Collection', a unique portfolio of inspirational Hertfordshire homes, having the added advantage of being a local resident for over 30 years. When not in the office, Nic is a keen golfer and can often be found playing at Hammonds End Golf Course. Nic is also former Secretary of the Redbourn Round Table!
With over 15 years of local property experience and practiced in both sales and lettings disciplines, Robert is Associate Director for our St Albans branch. With passion for property, he has overseen several thousand transactions throughout his career. On the odd occasion Rob isn’t found working in the office, he can be found following his other passion for mountain biking or watching his local football team!
