Joining Ashtons in 2017, Alf has a 26 year property career in lettings, sales, new homes and auctions. He has been a Fellow of ARLA since 2012 and holds a Diploma in Residential Lettings. Alf is responsible for residential lettings including management, compliance and accounts. A professional musician in his youth, Alf still enjoys band practice in his spare time and has a passion for Italian food and red wines.
As PA to our Lettings Associate Director and Lettings Auditor, Amy brings with her valuable years of experience and training in all things property. Prior to joining Ashtons, Amy had worked in the property industry for 15 years in a variety of roles, including Asset Management and Property Management. Amy supports the entire Lettings team, ensuring we are compliant with legislation and that we are able to provide the best possible service for our clients. Amy’s home life is as varied as her work life, with an array of interests and hobbies including travelling, baking, crafts, reading and even fishing.
Brett joined Ashtons in 2022 and has almost 30 years’ experience in the property industry, having held senior positions in the high-end property markets of Belsize Park, West Hampstead, Radlett and Harpenden. Brett has lived in the St Albans area for most of his life and brings his wealth of experience and knowledge of the local area to the St Albans team. Outside of work, Brett’s passions are sport, music and his family, which continues to grow with the recent addition of two grandchildren.
Chris previously managed a portfolio of 200 properties for the Department of Transport, followed by 10 years at a Lettings Agency in London before joining Ashtons in 2011. With comprehensive knowledge of the Housing Act and lettings legislation, Chris truly has his finger on the industry pulse and has a great affinity with landlords and tenants alike. When not in the office, Chris dedicates his time to charity fundraising and his love for running.
Colin’s lettings career began in North London in 2012 where he steadily worked his way up and honed his expertise before joining Ashtons in 2021 as Senior Lettings Associate & Valuer before being promoted to Lettings Manager. Colin brings a great deal of lettings experience to the role, and he loves meeting new people and being able to source the perfect home for his clients. When away from the office, avid Chelsea fan Colin can usually be found in the gym or enjoying a round of golf!
Danika is our Accounts Administrator and re-joined the team in 2022. Danika has over 8 years accountancy experience at various firms, including a year providing invaluable accounts support here at Ashtons and we are delighted to welcome her back. Danika is currently working towards her AAT qualification and is a highly valued addition to the team. When not crunching numbers Danika is a qualified dog trainer and enjoys spending time with her young family.
Frederica is an Asset Manager in our Welwyn office. With 4 years’ experience in property management, Frederica brings with her a passion for property and an impeccable track record. Frederica is extremely customer service focused and prides herself on her fantastic attention to detail. Frederica is currently studying the ARLA qualification through Ashtons and loves exploring new countries, cultures and cuisines.
Gemma joined our Asset Management team in 2023 with 14 years’ experience in the lettings industry. Gemma is passionate about building strong relationships with landlords and tenants and thrives on resolving any issue which may arise ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved. Outside of work Gemma enjoys time with her daughter engaging in lots of fun activities, she also loves to cook, a roast with all the trimmings being her speciality!
With almost 20 years’ industry experience, Jamie has a proven record in high volume luxury lettings environments. He started his career in London but since moving to Harpenden, his desire to work in a local market intensified. He is best placed to provide expert advice with a passion for unrivalled service and best practice. In his spare time, Jamie enjoys running and can often be found growing vegetables in his own allotment!
Joanne returned to the Astons team in 2023 bringing with her 23 years of valuable experience in the property industry, complemented by her ARLA qualification. Proficient in managing the compliance aspects of our property portfolios Joanne is dedicated to delivering excellent service to both landlords and tenants. Outside of work Joanne is a fitness enthusiast engaging in activities such as running, crossfit and hiking and recently completed her fourth half marathon!
Kirsty joined the team in 2020 bringing with her 8 years expertise. She started her career in Manchester where she managed a large portfolio of luxury city centre developments. Kirsty has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of property management, priding herself on giving a friendly service and building long lasting relationships with landlords and tenants. When not in the office, Kirsty enjoys travelling with her family and socialising with friends.
Mariana works with our friendly St Albans team to ensure that all our clients’ needs are met, providing lettings support and delivering Ashtons’ signature first-class service. Mariana’s bubbly personality and can-do attitude make her popular amongst clients and colleagues alike. Outside of the office, sociable Mariana loves spending time with friends, travelling and staying fit.
