Note from our Vendor
Contessa Riding Centre has been our family home since 1968. At that time, we purchased The Gables and then gradually secured the surrounding land, which together became the Contessa estate. We have many happy memories from our years in this special valley, having built the centre into an internationally renowned equestrian facility.

In 2022, after receiving the award for Best Riding School in the United Kingdom, we made the decision to downsize. It felt like the right moment to offer someone else the chance to take over and continue serving the equestrian world—especially our local area.

We wish the next custodians every success and hope they find as much joy in it as we have. It will be a bittersweet farewell for us.
