Estate agents often get criticised for their work but Louise has exceptional communication skills, immense knowledge and never seemed to get flustered when dealing with a lot of pressure which was asserted from various parties whilst managing a long chain of 8 properties all with vendors moving throughout the UK. Shame there are not more agents of Louise's capabilities and vision. I will be recommending Louise to vendors looking to sell their home in your area!

We have dealt with many estate agents over the years and in recent times, and found Ashtons to be professional, friendly and organised. We mainly dealt with Steve at first who arrived promptly for the valuation, came with specs
of similar properties and immediately gave a valuation and reasons for it (and didn't waffle on like many estate agents!). Once the sale was going through we dealt mainly with Joanne, who we have dealt with in the past, and have always found her professional, quick to respond, constantly kept in touch with any updates and always a friendly voice. If Joanne was unavailable, Steve always knew where the sale was at, and was keen to help. Ashtons seem to have a well-organised operation, friendly, bright feel to the office and someone is always there to help - too many times estate agents say that 'the person you need is out of the office and I don't know what's going on', whereas someone would always either know or find out at Ashtons. Also, nice touch with the flowers at the end!

When we decided to put our house on the market, we don’t mind saying that previous experience of Estate Agents has not always been good. I know from many friends and colleagues that this view is quite common and many comments that I received were along the lines of, “They don’t earn their money!”

I am pleased to begin by saying that Ashtons demonstrated from day one that they are completely different and so much that I would extend our thoughts that all staff, despite being in a business transaction, we perceive as close friends.

We were amazed from day one how much effort was put into preparing us for achieving a good sale, starting with very professional advice, excellent photography and presentation of our home. They asked if I would be prepared to brief their staff on our property and its history so that they would be able to present it well to their buying clients. Every visit accompanied by a member of the Ashtons’ team was superbly presented. But for us, one of the most important things was good communication and here, Ashtons’ staff were incredibly good whilst backed up by fast updated internet reports on every visit.

One has to accept that from time to time various issues can arise that are not down to the Estate Agent, but Ashtons’ staff worked exceptionally hard to resolve each and every issue, communicating not only with us, but every person in the buying and selling chain, including solicitors, buyers and sellers.

When exchange of contracts came through we were excited and so grateful for the hard work put in by Ashtons’ staff and would mention to the Branch Director that he is very fortunate to have such an excellent team.
