Outlying rural areas are dealt with through our specialist Village & Country office in Redbourn and second Village & Rural department at Welwyn Garden City. The Role

We have an opportunity for a customer service focused professional to join our award-winning team in Berkhamsted.

You will have a professional appearance, excellent communication skills, be articulate and have an engaging personality. Good time management and organisational skills are also a must.

The majority of your day will be spent accompanying applicants and prospective buyers to properties. In addition, time will be spent office based, dealing with prospective and existing clients on the telephone and in person, delivering the exceptional customer service which Ashtons is renowned for.

General

  • To meet and greet potential customers and advise them of the Ashtons service
  • Answer initial telephone calls
  • Take details of potential applicants and encourage them to view properties
  • Encourage customers to place their property with Ashtons by offering a valuation appointment
  • Make outgoing calls to generate viewing appointments
  • To carry out accompanied viewing appointments using your own motor car
  • Encourage applicants to view alternate property and understand client’s needs
  • Sincerely sell the benefits of each property
  • Record notes on Reap It
  • Deal with e mails and respond accordingly
  • Hand deliver correspondence
  • Ensure security of the property and responsibility for holding keys
  • Be familiar with estate agency legislation
  • Be familiar with local schools and amenities
  • Undertake general administrative duties as and when required, including supporting the sales team
  • Filing and delivering correspondence, letters and general flyers from time to time
  • Ensure good time keeping and accuracy
  • Maintain good levels of appearance at all times
  • Duties from time to time in accordance with the needs of the business
  • Attend occasional evening and social events

 Ancillary Services

  • Make an effective introduction of all ancillary services that the company may have to offer from time to time both directly and via introduction to Client Services Department

Client Care 

  • The business of Ashtons has built up a genuine reputation for high standards of customer care, such standards are to be continued and improved wherever possible.
  • In the unlikely event of correspondence being received from a dissatisfied client, that correspondence to be immediately passed to your Line Manager.

 

Salary & Working Profile

Saturdays: 9am - 5pm

£11.00 per hour
